Maths game "Place value war"

                                                                 Place value war

Danae,Brian,Ezekiel,Monasinah and Caysal are  playing cards.
First you need at least 2 or more people to play this game.
Secondly Deal out the cards evenly between group so they all have about 6 to 8 cards each.
Thirdly  take 2 cards on the top of your deck and flip them over remembering to not look at them.Looking at other opponents card whoever has the highest cards wins.
e.g  When you flip over 1 card and say is the number 9 that represents the tens column. Then when you flip over the second card and say it is a 1 that wil represent the ones column.
The person that has 91 as there number wins for that is the highest number
Then we keep playing until somebody in your team has got everybody's cards.

This is when it was my turn to say what number I had.
This was when Our new student Brian was just
about to flip his cards and say what number he had.
We had fun playing that game is was a change.

Hi again This is another fun blog post that I am putting up for all of you to see. This was a fun change from doing work in books and on sites ,we got to play with cards. This was helping us with our place value and there is a demonstration on how we played the game.Hop you enjoy.See you later.
